Natural Breeze’s Painting Division has transformed homes across Lawrence and Douglas County since 2005. We started with a single in-house painter when we were having difficulty finding a reliable painting trade partner and over the years have organically grown into a full-service painting contractor with a number of crews.
Our process starts with protecting your homes furnishings & floors with the use of drop cloths, floor protective products, and plastic draping’s. We take similar steps on the exterior using drop cloths and tarps to protect your landscaping. Site preparation is followed by a thorough cleaning, necessary patching, sanding, priming, and caulking of the affected areas. Only after the site is fully protected and the surfaces are thoroughly prepared will we apply two finish coats of top-quality paint. Once the painting is finished we will remove all site-preparation and return your space to you in a clean and orderly manner.

Interiors
Freshening up your home’s interior with new paint on the walls, interior trim, cabinetry, or ceilings can transform the feeling of a room. Are your walls looking dull? Would you like to change colors? Is your interior trim looking beat up? We can help rejuvenate and refresh your home’s interior. We perform both single room painting and entire home interior re-paints. We use only high quality products and look forward to working with you on your next painting project.
Cabinetry
If your cabinetry is showing wear or you are simply wanting to change the color, we can help. If your cabinetry is stained, we can often refresh the finish to like new conditions or darken the color up if you would prefer. Stained cabinetry may also be painted with the right preparation work. If you already have painted cabinetry, we can revive the look with a matching color, or change up the color to change the look of the kitchen.
Exteriors
Maintaining your home’s exterior is one of the most important things you can do to protect your home and its value. If you are in need of exterior painting because it’s been 7-10years since your last paint application, or you simply want to freshen up the look with new colors, we are here to help.
The advantage that Natural Breeze painting offers is that our company’s roots are based in repair and remodeling. We focus on preparation and repair prior to the paint application. We will not simply “patch” or “cover up” areas of rot or deterioration but rather we know how to fix the root cause of the problem.
The preparation process is the most important part of any painting project. Only after the prep work is completed do we start applying paint. All painting projects include two finish coats of top-quality paint.
We will perform a thorough inspection prior to completing our proposal which will identify all the known areas of repair and typically includes an additional allowance for any further repairs found during the preparation stage of the painting process. If portions of the allowance are un-used this amount is credited back. If additional work is uncovered as we proceed, we will discuss this with you prior to continuing. You will never find a surprise charge on an invoice.
In addition to repainting Natural Breeze also stains exteriors. If you have stained wooden siding or a log home, we can clean and apply new stain to your exterior to both revive the appearance and protect the cladding materials.
Decks, Fences, & Pergolas
If you have a wooden deck, fence, pergola, or other outdoor structure, maintaining the exterior finish will greatly extend the lifespan. After a thorough cleaning we will either apply one or two finish coats of a preservative wood treatment. The exact product and methods we use are dependent on the material and surface type we are working with.
Millwork & Trim Pre-Finishing
Our paint shop is capable or pre-finishing or pre-painting Millwork and Interior Trim. We pre-finish items like Baseboards, Casing, Window Units, and Interior & Exterior Doors. If you are interested in this service, please call us to discuss your needs and we will come up with a custom solution.
Historic Renovations
Old, historic buildings have character and personality that newer buildings lack, but they often have outdated utilities or have been neglected and need repairs.
